IAEM BELGIUM

The acronym IAEM stands for International Association of Emergency Managers.

IAEM is a global professional federation active in over 60 countries spread out over the world.

IAEM was initially created in the mid 50s of the 20th century as a governmental civil defence agency. IAEM became an independent not-for-profit organisation some thirty years later.

In 2009 in the path of a constant growth in the number of members, IAEM-Europa asbl/vzw was created as a separate legal entity.
